The short version
We always set strictly necessary, first-party cookies — the ones sign-in cannot work without. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies. Analytics runs only if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner; if you reject, no analytics cookies are set.

All of these cookies are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=strict — they cannot be read by page scripts and are never sent to other websites.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept cookies on our banner, Google Analytics sets the cookies below to measure site usage (for example, which pages are visited and how visitors arrive). They are switched off by default and are never set if you reject or ignore the banner. IP addresses are anonymised. You can change your mind any time by clearing this site’s cookies.

Local storage we use
Besides cookies, the app keeps a small amount of functional data in your browser’s local storage. None of it is used for tracking, and none of it leaves your browser:

Local storage is cleared when you clear your browser’s site data; the signed-in markers are also cleared when you sign out.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (see the guides for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge). Be aware that blocking the strictly necessary cookies prevents signing in at all — they are what keeps your session secure.
